Pointburn is built around prediction, competition, and community. These rules exist to keep it a place worth being. They apply to everything on the site — games, comments, forums, and leagues.
1. Accounts
- One account per person. Do not create multiple accounts.
- Do not impersonate other users, public figures, or Pointburn staff.
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Pointburn.
- You are responsible for everything done under your account.
2. Conduct
Treat other users with basic respect. The following will not be tolerated anywhere on the site:
- Hate speech, slurs, or content targeting someone based on race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, or any other characteristic
- Harassment, threats, or targeted abuse of any user
- Posting personal information about another person without their consent
- Any content that is illegal under UK law
Disagreement and debate are fine. Making it personal is not.
3. Games
- Do not attempt to manipulate game outcomes or collude with others to gain an unfair advantage.
- All gold is virtual and has no monetary value. Do not attempt to exchange it for real money or goods.
- Moderator decisions on game outcomes are final. If you believe a genuine error has been made, contact us directly rather than posting about it on the site.
4. Forums and Comments
- No spam — do not post repetitive, meaningless, or off-topic content.
- No self-promotion or advertising without prior agreement.
- Keep discussions relevant to the topic or game they appear under.
- Do not post content that exists solely to provoke or derail a conversation.
5. Leagues
League owners and gamerunners set their own tone and may have additional rules within their league. Pointburn's rules still apply everywhere — league owners cannot authorise conduct that would otherwise break these rules.
6. Enforcement
Moderators may remove content or suspend accounts at their discretion. Serious or repeated violations will result in a permanent ban.

7. Changes
These rules may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the site means you accept any changes.
